New features help organize iSchematic’s Resource Library to improve overall search and customization capabilities.
Buffalo Grove, Illinois — October 29, 2013 – IntelliSchematic has released the newest version of iSchematic, its machine-specific troubleshooting and training resource. The latest update includes enhancements to the search feature within the Resource Library to allow for ease of navigation through the wiki-like information center. These updates are designed to help clients better incorporate iSchematic into their maintenance and troubleshooting procedures.
Technicians can now easily search for machine documentation, video animations, and component information by entering dynamic keywords and custom tags. Extending the search capabilities to include tagged information within the results generates a more comprehensive listing of information. Furthermore, technicians can effortlessly drill down into five main component categories and an expanding list of available topics.
“We are always looking to improve iSchematic and make using the application more intuitive for workers in the field,” said Brad Jensen, President, IntelliSchematic. “The features we’ve added help technicians quickly find pertinent information so it can provide aid to the job at hand.”
Along with the changes to the Resource Library, the process for uploading content has also been streamlined. Clients can now add facility-specific documentation directly to a Resource Library subject in order to efficiently contribute to the information available to their technicians.

IntelliSchematic adds features to iSchematic to enhance its interactive features and user experience.
Buffalo Grove, Illinois — November 27, 2012 – iSchematic, a product of IntelliSchematic LLC., recently unveiled new features that allow its users to interact with their facility’s machines and process information more effectively. These improvements include a redesigned component page and an updated electrical schematic layout. Both updates will help workers identify a machine’s components efficiently and encourage interactivity with their facility’s process information.
The renovated component page utilizes screen space by managing a central location to display technical content rather than on different, individual pages. The change helps make component information more accessible and enables technicians to use the application efficiently. The updated layout also optimizes iSchematic Modules for mobile devices.
Each redesigned electrical schematic allows maintenance technicians to quickly identify components by highlighting them on a 3-dimensional pictogram of the machine. Workers can easily distinguish specific electrical components on any machine to understand they’re function and overall role.
“Improving the user experience increases the relevancy of iSchematic to diverse workforces,” said Laura Owens, Production Manager, IntelliSchematic LLC. “These new features help workers with different knowledge backgrounds apply maintenance information effectively while working in the field.”
At its foundation, iSchematic documents knowledge about machines and systems at any company. iSchematic gives its clients access to validated schematics, interactive training, and a progressive platform for on-the-job-troubleshooting.
